Zarine finally feels famous in Bollywood

Actor Zarine Khan says after spending five years in the film industry, she finally feels “famous”.

The actor was appreciated for her performance in her latest film Hate Story 3, and feels everybody is now talking about her. “The reaction to Hate Story 3 has been very surprising.

Everybody knew about the film and everybody is talking about it. Finally, after being for so many years in the industry, I have to say I feel famous now,” said Zarine.

Zarine made her debut opposite Salman Khan in the 2010 drama Veer. She followed it up with films like Housefull 2 and some Tamil movies. When asked if she has got her due as an actor, Zarine said, “Somewhere I do. People have called me and complimented me, appreciated my performance. Something which has never happened with any of my previous films.” Zarine is content with her career so far and feels she has come a long way despite being an outsider.

“I feel content with my career. When I look at the journey so far, from my point of view, it is wonderful. I had no idea how the industry works, how will my journey pan out. I was an outsider with no connection, and yet I have made it so far and that is a very good feeling,” she added.
