Youth stabbed by restaurant staff, dies in hospital

A 21-year-old youth was stabbed by a restaurant staff in Noida’s Sector 71 on Tuesday night. Police said that the youth was attacked at the restaurant premises after a scuffle between him and the accused staff. He was admitted to the District Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police have registered a case and have launched a manhunt to arrest the main accused who is still at large. The whole incident has been captured in a CCTV camera installed inside the sector where the accused was seen stabbing the victim twice.

Police said the deceased has been identified as Rahul Pandey (21) who was living in Janata apartment and had come to Real Food Restaurant to take dinner around 11 pm where he was murdered later. Police said that there was no food in the restaurant when Rahul reached late in the night.

A heated argument broke out between Rahul and the restaurant’s owner Kulwant Singh and then a servant Manni Singh intervened. In the midst of the scuffle, Manni took out a knife and stabbed Rahul twice following which Rahul fell down in a pool of blood and Manni fled from the spot.

“After receiving a PCR call, police reached the spot and took Rahul to a hospital where he was declared dead. We have sent the body for post-mortem. 

“An FIR has been registered against Kulwant Singh, the owner of the restaurant, who lives in the same locality and servant Manni Singh under Section of 302 of the IPC. Two police teams have been formed to arrest Manni Singh from his native place Sikandarbad,” said the Investigating Officer (IO) of the case.
