Yemen business delegation to visit city in June

A delegation of businessmen from Yemen is expected to visit the city in June to assess investment prospects in the state.

Tariq Izzaldeen Hassan Al-Mouthen, commercial counsellor, embassy of the Republic of Yemen in India expressed his idea of the delegation’s visit to make entrepreneurs from Yemen aware of the immense potential of West Bengal in terms of investment and bilateral trade. He was speaking in a seminar on India-Gulf Business Exchange organised by the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCC&I) on Tuesday.

BCC&I president Ambarish Dasgupta readily accepted Al-Mouthen’s proposal and assured that a book “Discover Bengal”, with detailed outline about the state’s status in terms of investment and its prospect, will be given to them in the next two weeks.
