Yadav says he is a ‘sex addict’; was looking for sex worker on 5 Dec

The Uber cab driver, Shiv Kumar Yadav, accused in 5 December rape case has confessed before police that he is a sex-addict and used to visit sex workers very often.

In fact, on the fateful night of 5 December, when he allegedly raped a young financial analyst, he was looking for a sex worker, revealed a police officer requesting anonymity.

The police officer told Millennium Post, “During interrogation he showed no remorse for his act. He confessed that he was a sex-addict and used to experience different women.”

“At the time of the incident, I was looking for a sex worker but had no money. To arrange for the money I thought of doing night shift for Uber”, Yadav is supposed to have told police.

He further added he waited for the passenger in RK Puram for atleast 10 minutes. “Suddenly I received a notification that a cab is needed from Vasant Vihar area. I quickly went there and picked the girl who was standing with her male friend,” he said while narrating the sequence of event. He later confessed that on finding her in deep sleep he took her to an isolated place and raped her.

“She was beautiful. I was staring at her from the rear-view mirror. When we reached Tri Nagar I saw her sleeping at the rear seat. I honked to ensure whether she was in her sound sleep or not. Then I took her to an isolated place, parked the car near the bushes and assaulted her. Few minutes later, she woke up and started screaming. Initially, I didn’t want to hurt her, but she kicked me hard. I overpowered her and raped her. Later, I dropped her home and threatened her of dire consequences if she revealed the matter to anyone”, he confessed before police.

He further said his wife stayed in Mathura and hence he used to call sex workers either at home or go to the red light area. “When his mobile phones, both official and personal, were scanned several porn videos were found in his mobile,” the police officer said.

Disturbed by their son’s act, Yadav’s parents in Mainpuri in Uttar Pradesh have said he should be punished if found guilty. “He should get strictest of punishmen if he has done any wrong”, his mother said.
