4 injured in Italy drive-by shooting

Paris: At least four people were injured in a drive-by shooting in a central Italian town on Saturday. One man was arrested.
A man and a passenger in a car drove around the town of Macerata, opening fire at various places including near the train station, the police said.
The Mayor of the town warned people in a tweet to stay indoors.
Police said the injured were being treated in hospital. They said that all those targeted were foreigners and local reports said the victims were black immigrants, the BBC reported.
Gunfire was heard in the Via Spalato and Via dei Velini parts of town, two key areas in an investigation into the murder of an 18-year-old girl whose body was found last Wednesday.
A Nigerian man was detained over the girl's killing. Local reports linked the two incidents.
