Women’s Indian Open to begin on December 4

Sharmila Nicollet and Vani Kapoor will lead the home challenge in a highly competitive field at women’s Indian Open, set to kick off at Delhi Golf Club on December 4.

Defending champion Thidapa Suwannapura along with Carlota Ciganda and Gwladys Nocera will also be seen in action at the $300,000 event, tri-sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET), the Ladies Asian Golf Tour (LAGT) and Women’s Golf Association of India (WGAI). The Indian golfers will compete against the likes of Kylie Walker (winner, Deloitte Ladies Open 2014 & Ladies German open 2014), Florentyna Parker (winner, Ladies Italian Open 2014), Julie Greciet (winner, berbank Golf Masters 2014) and Connie Chen (winner, Tenerife Open de Espana 2014).
