Woman’s stalker guns down her father in Nagpur

A college professor was shot dead early Wednesday by a man who stalked his daughter in Maharashtra, police said. The accused was arrested. Anwar Khan killed Yogesh Dakhore and critically injured his wife Kusum around 3 am in Nagpur’s Hudkeshwar area, police said. Khan used to stalk Dakhore’s 24-year-old daughter and wanted her to accept his proposal for friendship, police said. According to Dakhore’s neighbours, his daughter along with her two elder brothers registered a police complaint in February about harassment by Khan.
