Woman RPF thrashed for pushing youth to death

A youth was killed after he was pushed out from a running train by a woman RPF between Uttarpara and Hind Motors railway stations here on Tuesday. 

The youth, who was travelling in Matribhoomi local, had entered into an argument with a woman RPF and was pushed off the train. He died on the spot. 

After the train reached Hind Motors railway station, the woman RPF was pushed out from the train and beaten up badly by the train passengers. 

A case was also filed against the accused. Following the incident, the passengers blocked Hind Motors railway station and demanded strong action against the accused woman RPF. 

When a police team reached the spot, the angry passengers started pelting stones at them. Finally police resorted to lathi-charge in which few passengers were reportedly injured.
