Woman mowed down in Mundka, police yet to identify her

A woman was allegedly crushed to death by an unidentified vehicle in West Delhi's Mundka area on Tuesday night. The police said the victim was yet to be identified.

The police got to know about the accident late Tuesday night when a passer-by spotted a woman lying in a pool of blood near the Hiran Koodna Road. 

A police team reached the spot and took the woman to a hospital, where she was declared brought dead.

However, as no document was found with the woman, the police have not been able to establish her identity.

Meanwhile, her body will be kept in the mortuary for the next three days. The police have sent across a photograph of the woman to all police stations in Delhi to establish her identity.

The police said they were also scanning the CCTV footage of the area to establish the exact sequence of events.
