Woman found murdered, husband missing

In yet another case of murder, a 40-year-old woman was found murdered with her throat slit and injury marks on various parts of the body in Sector 22, Noida on Friday.
The police said that she had come to the city with a man last week and was living in a rented accommodation. The man, who had claimed to be victim’s husband, had said that she had come to the city for medical treatment.
However, police is suspecting the man’s hand in rape and murder as he has been absconding since the incident.
According to the police, Ramniwas Sharma (45), a resident of Modinagar, had taken a flat in Chaura area and was living alone. Last week, he told his landlord that his wife has come from the village for treatment. When on Friday morning, the landlord, Dharamveer Singh, reached the flat for rent collection, he got no response from inside. On raising suspicion, he went inside the house and found the woman lying in a pool of blood. He immediately called Ramniwas but his mobile was switched off.
A police team has been sent to his Sharma’s native place to gather the details about the deceased who is still unidentified.
