Woman abducted, raped in moving car
A 30-year-old woman, who reportedly works for an NGO, was allegedly abducted and molested by three men in a moving car on Friday night.
The woman was allegedly picked up by the trio while she was waiting for an auto-rickshaw near a bus stand in West Delhi’s Hari Nagar area. The three accused persons later threw her out of the car at South-west Delhi’s Brindapur area, said a police official.
A case under the appropriate sections of the law was registered against several unknown persons at the Hari Nagar police station after an alleged brief confusion among cops regarding the jurisdiction over the place of occurrence of the crime, said a source.
The police soon identified all three accused and, in the mean time, one of them also reportedly registered a cross complaint against the victim. In his complaint, he mentioned that the victim was trying to frame him and his associates in a false case.
Later, the victim also reportedly emerged to be the complainant in a case alleging unauthorised construction. It was also reported that the victim and the accused entered into a heated argument after the complaint was lodged, the source added.
