Winter Spread is Here

Its Seafood time again this winter with Chef Veena Arora- the maverick Chef De Cuisine at The Spice Route. Sumptuous and warm for winters, the healthy and all time famous winter collection menu by Chef Veena offers an eclectic mix of recipes from the South-East Asian kitchen. This time the menu takes you to the spice route of Thailand and Malaysia while presenting the flavours of Kerala and Srilanka with élan.  Chef Veena introduces Kadugi Meen Masala and Rendang Udang amongst other specialties to the menu. Kadugi is sole fillet in mustard paste and bishop’s weed with cilantro leaves and Rendang is Malay style prawns infused with the flavours of fresh coconut, coconut milk and the soothing lemon grass. Smoky flavours bursts in your mouth as you beat the chill with charcoal grilled jump prawns served with garlic and cilantro dressing in Kung Tein while prawns flavoured with lemon grass in por pia wraps for Kung Hom Pha leave you asking for more. The prawn treat extends with Yera Arvat Anjj which takes its origin from Chicken 65 but twisted with prawns and kerala spices for an all new creation. The menu also features the delicious, melt in the mouth lobsters in oyster sauce- Kung Nang Phad Saparos, promising to stir your senses and Phad Khing Pla – sole with black fungus, celery stems and leaves all making your winters an affair to remember.

The hand-crafted specialties create an extremely palatable and delightful dining experience for sea food lovers. The winter collection menu is conceptualised in such a way that all the dishes and ingredients are perfectly suited for winter season and offer a wholesome experience.
