Will BJP-ruled states now spend more on health, jobs: AAP

Launching a scathing attack against Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his suggestions to BJP-ruled states to work on health, education and employment, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia asked if states ruled by the saffron party will allocate maximum of their resources in these areas.

“Will BJP ruled states open mohalla clinics and Polyclinics? Will people get free treatment?” asked Sisodia.

He sarcastically thanked Modi for ‘realising’ the true governance model and alleged that Modi was following the Aam Aadmi party (AAP) government’s agenda.

“I hope, the Prime Minister will not create hurdles in clearing the Delhi government’s files related to these three sectors – health, education and employment,” he added.

The minister further said: “If education, medicine and employment is not ‘rhetoric’ (jumla) for you I hope BJP ruled states will allocated maximum budget on education and health.”

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)MLA and Leader of the Opposition in the Delhi Assembly, Vijender Gupta, slammed Sisodia for creating troubles in Delhi and blaming the Centre.

“During the AAP government’ regime, Delhi has witnessed a downfall by 10 years,” said Gupta.

He alleged that due to conservative and parochial mindset of the AAP government, Delhi was facing problems in all sectors. “The Prime Minister is following his own six-point development agenda, which he has described at all public meetings and even in rallies. The three points for the state are electricity, water and road, while three-point formulae for the families are – education, medicines and employment,” said Gupta.
