Welcome in the chills

What better way to ring in the season than with some spicy eats and some great wines?
Punjab Grill (at Select Citywalk Saket) witnessed the launch of its new winter menu with Chef Gurpreet Singh, serving authentic flavours from the Punjab territory. Digging in the aromas were many discerning guests and food connoisseurs of Delhi. Winter is all about the heavy flavours and the incredible thick gravies that chase away the chills. Tempered just right with the desi tadka, Punjab came calling in style.

The guests were served up a scrumptious offering of delectable dishes reminiscent of the flavours and tastes that were prepared using ingredients of the season, inspired by home style cooking of traditional Punjab.

While few were seen sipping Kaali Gajar ki Kaanji through the evening, others were seen catching up to the nostalgic aromas of Shakarkandi Kamrakh ki Chaat - which was absolutely delectable, Kharode ka Shorba and the much loved Chukander ke Kebab. And keeping the spirits high through the evening were some delectable wines.

The main course was sinfully tempting with options like Tabak Mass, Methi Chicken Tikka, Bheja Masala, Sarson da Saag with Makkai Tava Roti, and Bahurangi Biryani.

The menu also included the mouthwatering special Punjab Grill Signature Deg Hot Pot filled with mutton kofta, mutton jus and winter vegetables. To pamper the sweet tooth were delights such as Gurh Wale Chawal and Bajre ki Choori keeping alive the essence of the unforgettable earthen flavours.

So forget the weighing scales and go on, book yourself a table - you will not regret this treat!
