Wedding bells ring for Saifeena, invites out

The countdown has begun. After a series of announcements, denials and passing the buck, seems like the Saifeena wedding is finally on for October. Just like mom Sharmila Tagore had told
Millennium Post during the Delhi Couture Week. And according to recent reports, Tagore has already started sending out invites to close family members and friends.
Even then, Kareena has chosen to remain mum about the wedding or any other details relating to it. ‘You will get to know about it,’ that is all she says when asked.
Meanwhile, friend and designer Manish Malhotra has already started working on her wedding trousseau. Unlike reports, Kareena is undecided whether to wear mom-in-law Sharmila’s wedding lehenga. ‘Work on her trousseau is already underway. We are in constant touch about the ensembles,’ Malhotra told Millennium Post.
So what is he creating for ‘good friend’ Kareena? ‘Can’t discuss that now,’ he said, wanting to keep the world waiting. However, it is expected that he will be designing a lehenga with lots of Kashmiriwork and antique detailing. And yes, it will be in Kareena’s favourite colour, which is red.
Kareena, in the meantime, refused to answer questions about whether she will convert to Islam post marriage, like Sharmila had after marrying Mansur Ali Khan. ‘That’s a very wrong question, which I will not be answering,’ she reportedly said when asked about conversion at a recent press conference to promote her upcoming film Heroine which releases 21 September.
