Weaved to beauty
This annual exhibition is brought by the Delhi Crafts Council (DCC) and focuses on novel techniques and new ideas re-inventing the traditional weaves and prints. The event is  aimed at showcasing sarees to promote the heritage, culture and revival of the ultimate unstitched garment.

The participants have created a collection of sarees that embody the true essence of handloom textiles and combined it with contemporary design elements.  There are 20 participants bringing numerous types of sarees in traditional Indian weaves to the event. The range of textiles includes Chanderi, Chikankari, Linen, Khadi, South Indian Weaves, Prints, Kantha, Bandhani, Ikat, Tussar Weaves, Venkatgiri , Bandhani  and Uppad.

Designers Sarita and Sarika bring forth Karomi, a brand synonymous with hand-crafted and hand-made textiles, specializing in hand-loom weaving, hand-block printing, hand embroideries, stitching and combined techniques.
