We won’t underestimate B’desh: Edwards

England Captain Edwards Charlotte Edwards on Wednesday said England would certainly start favorites, but she wouldn’t underestimate Bangladesh in their ICC Women’s World T20 match here on Thursday.

“We are the favorites favorites as our ranking suggests. We have played Bangladesh only once. They are a good side - they field and bowl well, but batting is their concern, which was reflected in Tuesday’s match against India.

Nevertheless, we cannot underestimate any side in this group,” she told reporters on the eve of England-Bangladesh WT20 match here on Wednesday. 

Edwards said Bangladesh certainly has advantage for having acclimatised the condition here by playing warm-up and a match against India, but some of her players also have played cricket on this ground some years back.
