We, the youth

They change relationship statuses like clothes and believe in sex at first sight. And this is your regular Delhi college campus. Tragic, but true – perhaps. And these are the same kids who get inextricably bound in scandals they themselves quite cannot fathom.

What begins as a suicide attempt investigation spirals into a crazy ride through the confessions in a private diary to a love story and a MMS scandal (Boys keep private diaries? Just wondering).

Yuvaan (Ruslaan Mumtaz) tries to kill himself and inspector (Murli Sharma) takes interest in reading his personal diary. The confessions reveal that Yuvaan was attracted to his classmate Aayra (Chetna Pande). They unintentionally end up shooting a video of one of their impulsive intimate escapades. The video goes viral and is soon picked up by news channels, putting the two in serious trouble. The good cop and a TV channel gear up to solve the crisis . Absurd – but true.

While the producers and director have selected a relevant topic, the execution is left wanting. A lot more could have been done with the issue and the histrionics. Ruslaan is sincere and honest in his effort, especially towards the end but the other actors aren’t that impressive.

We give them a 2.5 for the effort.
