When was this institution set up?
Jaipuria Institute of Management Studies, Indirapuram, was set up in 2008 and has a sprawling campus spread over 5.5 acres on the Delhi- Meerut link road within NCR. Jaipuria Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad, was established fulfilling all the norms regarding academic, financial and social aspects set by the concerned statutory bodies. The institute started a full time two-year PGDM course from the academic session 2008. This course is duly approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD (Govt. of India).
How does your institution make a difference in the field of business schools?
We are providing world-class facilities in our institution. We nurture talent here in our institution who will lead the corporate world in future. Within a few years we have emerged as a giant player in the field of management studies. Management education is going through a new phase of change because the corporate world needs leaders and not managers; leaders who are capable of aiming high and then achieving the vision of their organisations by aligning and motivating people. This requires more comprehensive and focused management education that integrates skills with insight, and knowledge with wisdom. We have redesigned our curriculum to achieve this purpose by providing a unique learning environment that stimulates thinking and imagination of the students.
What is the model of learning at Jaipuria Indirapuram?
At Jaipuria Institute of Management Studies we facilitate a culture of experiential learning and practical grooming of students for the aim of achieving perfection. Our dedication to learning and our personal commitment to students are what make our teaching stand out. With the excellence in education sector for 109 years, Jaipurias are trying to take management education to the masses in the different parts of the country. Jaipurias have announced seventy Padma Bhushan M R Jaipuria Scholarships worth Rs 1.5 crore. These scholarships will be awarded to brilliant students who are not able to pursue management education due to lack of financial support for doing Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (Approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India) at Jaipuria Institute of Management Studies Indirapuram, the flagship Institute of Jaipurias.
What is your institution’s track record in terms of placement?
Since 2008, when our institution was set up here in Indirapuram, we, on an average, provide around 90 per cent or more placement in the top companies. These companies come to us on priority basis to hire fresh and trained professionals to run their businesses smoothly.
