We are not only concerned about making profits: Raj Kundra

Rajasthan Royals are yet to set their cash counters ringing but they are not losing much sleep over it either, according to co-owner Raj Kundra, who says the IPL franshise is more committed to unearth the hidden talents of the country.
'We are not making much of the profits but we are certainly not making any losses as well. There have been arbitration costs going along but that has nothing to do with our earnings from the match.
'We are not only concerned about making profits but we are committed to promote the Indian talent. It was Yusuf Pathan in the first edition, then it was Ravindra Jadeja and now it is Ajinkya Rahane,' Kundra told.
The BCCI had earlier terminated the contracts of Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals, alleging that they had breached the agreement by changing the shareholding pattern without the Board's consent, forcing the two franchisees to move to the court.
Kundra praised Rahane for his effort with the bat in the ongoing fifth edition of the Indian Premier League. The Mumbai lad has so far accumulated 458 runs for his team at an average of 57.25.
'He has been an absolute joy to watch this season. He has been consistent with the bat and remains calm and collected in tough situations, he has certainly got the making of a great cricketer,' Kundra said.
Asked how he visualised the transformation of the team, first under Shane Warne and now Rahul Dravid, Kundra said, "Shane was a great man to have in the side, he brought in with him the air of western culture. He was more friendly with the boys.
'Dravid has got huge amount of experience. With him he is the boss, he is 'Rahul sir' for the youngsters. With Rahul at the helm, the team has become more disciplined'
'I have always maintained if Dravid would not have played in the age of (Sachin) Tendulkar, he would have been an unconditional No. 1,' he added.
Asked what does the future hold for the team, with Dravid possibly playing his last IPL, Kundra said the former India captain has still a long way to go.
'Dravid has still got a lot of time. I believe he quit international cricket a bit too early, which has turned out to be a blessing in disguise for Rajasthan Royals,' he said
