Water supply in parts of city to be affected today

The Delhi Jal Board issued an advisory about water supply being affected due to some urgent rehabilitation work at Nangloi Water Treatment Plant.

According to the Board, water supply will not be available from 8 am to 4 pm on Thursday in areas like Dwarka, Matiala Village and adjoining areas of Vishwas Park, Vikaspuri Society area, Dabri More, Pankh Road, Fish Market, Uttam Nagar group of colonies, Vikaspuri, Vikash Nagar, Rishal Garden, Ranhola, Janta Flats LIG/MIG Dichaon Kalan, Chanchal Park, Jai Vihar group of colonies, Mundka and its adjoining areas, Nangloi and its adjoining areas.

Further, due to flushing programme of Underground Reservoir and Booster Pumping Station, water supply will be available at low pressure on Thursday in areas like Sector D-7 and 8 Vasant Kunj, Godavari Apartment, NRI Complex, Satya Niketan, Kapasera Village, C-Block East of Kailash,C-5/D Block Janakpuri, 32 Block New Moti Nagar, C-4/A Block Janakpuri, C-6/A Janakpuri, C-3/A Block Janakpuri, -3/120 SFS Janakpuri, Punjabi Bagh, U-Block Sultanpur Mazra Village, BF Block Shalimar Bagh, Sector-18 and 19 Badli, Pahari Imli, Mata Sundari, Minto Road, Pahri Bhojla city areas, Matia Mahal, part of Ajmeri Gate, Maujpur, Brahampuri, Jagjeet Nagar, Kartar Nagar, Vikay Colony, Gautam Vihar, Gawari Exten, Jai Prakash Nagar and Arvind Nagar.
