Watch Tata’s Jaguar Land Rover in new Bond film!

Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) on Tuesday announced that three of its models will feature in the new James Bond film ‘Spectre.’ The Bond villain will be seen driving Jaguar’s C-X75 prototype as part of a spectacular chase scene through Rome alongside 007’s already-revealed Aston Martin DB10.

All the vehicles for the 24th instalment of the Bond franchise, starring Daniel Craig in the lead, have been provided by Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations, featuring bespoke suspension and enhanced body protection.

“This is an exciting partnership for Jaguar Land Rover and an opportunity to demonstrate the fantastic capabilities of the Special Operations team,”

said JLR Special Operations managing director John Edwards. Scenes including the heavily-modified Land Rover Defenders & Range Rover Sport SVR have already been filmed in Austria.

JLR vehicles have been involved in a succession of Bond films and most recently in 2012 with the rugged Defender 110 Double Cab Pick Up driven by field agent Eve Moneypenny in the opening sequence of ‘Skyfall.’

‘Spectre’ is directed by Sam Mendes and written by John Logan, Neal Purvis & Robert Wade and produced by Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli.
