Was never offered MS Dhoni’s biopic: Gautam Gulati

Indian TV actor Gautam Gulati, who rose to fame after winning celebrity reality show Bigg Boss 8, has denied being a part of Neeraj Pandey’s upcoming biopic about Indian captain MS Dhoni. There were reports the actor would play a member of Dhoni’s team in the film.

“I am not doing Dhoni’s biopic. In fact, I was never offered the film. These were just rumours and I don’t know how they surfaced. But there is no truth in them,” the actor told to a media person. Gautam is currently shooting for Azhar, an upcoming biopic on the life of former Indian cricketer, Mohammad Azharuddin. Starring Emraan Hashmi in the titular role, the film is produced by Ekta Kapoor. It is a part of the three-film deal Gautam signed with Ekta’s Balaji Films. “I have shot some <g data-gr-id="18">scenes</g> but I am not allowed to talk about my role and the film. Ekta ma’am offered me a three-film deal and who would say no to her. I am very happy to have got a chance to work with her again,” he said.
