Vizag to host nat’l district athletics meet next month

Touted as India’s biggest event for <g data-gr-id="10" style="color: #3b3b3b; font-size: 11px;">grassroot</g> athletes with more than 3000 participating, the National Inter-District Athletics Meet (NID-JAM) will be held here from September 5 to 7. 

“The Andhra Pradesh government has come forward to support the initiative which is expected to attract around 3,600 athletes including officials from 300 districts of <g data-gr-id="16" style="color: #3b3b3b; font-size: 11px;">country</g>,” state HRD minister Ganta Srinivas Rao said here. NID-JAM will be conducted for boys and girls.
