Vir Das ‘high strung’ about comedy show in New York

Vir Das will be starting his debut comedy tour in the US on November 14, and the actor-comedian can’t wait to spread smiles and laughter on the foreign shores. He says getting on the stage in New York will be a big step for him.

“I’m high strung about performing at a stage that everyone I have ever idolised in comedy has headlined at some point. This would be a first ever by a comedian from India to headline a weekend at Caroline’s which is NYC’s top club. It feels kind of cool to have your name in lights above Broadway,” Vir said in a statement. 

The actor, who is known for his impeccable comic timing, will perform at Carolines on Broadway.He will leave for the trip soon. The Delhi Belly actor will then move to Hollywood Improv in LA and San Francisco to perform.
