The modern day Delhi is a bouquet of different colors, religions, languages, and is a unique spectacle of a homogeneous blend of various cultures brought to this great land by people coming from diverse backgrounds.
A group of artists, under the guidance of Sarbdeep Jaswal, have tried to capture through their paintings, the different hues and colors of the cultural heritage of Delhi. This artistic endeavor was on display through an exhibition, very aptly named “Vibrant Strokes of Delhi” recently held at AIFACS, gallery B.
Around 11 students will be showcasing their paintings at the show - Tanuja Jaitly, Kriti Ahuja, Smita Nanda, Namita Shrivastava, Vrishali Swaroop, Aditi, Arpit Upadhaya, Parneet Kaur, Devika, Vishaka Dhar, Prabhjot. Sarbdeep Jaswal is an established and a well-known painter, whose works are exhibited and appreciated in India and abroad. Her uncompromising dedication towards her craft and her boundless zeal and enthusiasm is to promote art as a way of life.
