VHP to hold conference demanding liquor ban in Tamil Nadu

Demanding total prohibition and removal of liquor shops in the state, the Vishwa Hindu on Monday said it would hold a conference at Hosur on January 25, 2015.
Speaking to reporters, senior VHP leader S Vedantham and Tamil Nadu unit leader RS Narayanasamy expressed concern over liquor menace ruining many families in Tamil Nadu and said an increasing number of youngsters, including school and college going school students, are becoming addicted to alcohol.
They claimed more than 1 lakh people would participate in the conference.
