Unmukt Chand fires Delhi on top against Rajasthan

Unmukt Chand hit his fifth first-class century (146 runs) and half-centuries from Mithun Manhas (53) and Sumit Narwal (59) helped Delhi seize the initiative against Rajasthan on the third and penultimate day of their Ranji encounter at the Ferozeshah Kotla on Tuesday.

Delhi declare their innings at 380 for six, building up a first-innings lead of 239 before reducing Rajasthan to 78 for two, needing 161 more to avoid a final-day innings defeat.

In Rohtak, Vidarbha, after getting bowled out for 154 in the first innings, came back strongly to dismiss Haryana for 156 in their first innings. Left arm pacer Ravikumar Thakur took 4 for 38. Vidarbha 2nd innings were 23 for 2. At stumps, Vidharbha were, however, reduced to 23 for two in their second innings.
