Under-trial man found dead

Mystery shrouds the death of an under-trail prisoner at Barrackpore sub correctional home on Saturday morning. The deceased was identified at Radhakanta Mondol (34). The correctional home authorities have started an inquiry. The body has been sent for post-mortem. However, there were no external marks of injury on the body. His jailmates found him hanging from the ceiling. They immediately informed the correctional home authorities. Mondol was arrested in connection with the rape of a minor girl in Kankinara.
