Two-year-old boy sexually assaulted by neighbour

A two-year-old boy was allegedly sexually assaulted by his neighbour, a carpenter in East Delhi’s Jagatpuri area.

Sources said that parents of the two-year-old boy grew suspicious that their son has been sodomised and registered a complaint against their neighbour.

However, after the medical examination and primary investigation, the police are doubtful of the allegations but have registered a case based on the complaint filed by the minor boy’s parents.

The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon in East Delhi’s Jagatpuri area where the toddler was playing outside his house when their neighbour took him to the local eatery and treated him to dosa. 

However, the parents alleged in their complaint that their son’s clothes were disheveled.

A senior police official said that the parents got wary that their son was molested and thus they alerted police. “We had registered their complaint after getting the boy examined by a doctor. 

So far there are no signs of sexual molestation. There are no external injuries on his 

body. We will investigate the case further and question the accused,” added the police official.
