In South-east Delhi, a businessman was looted at a gunpoint on the main road of East of Kailash area. The incident took place on Monday, at about 8 am.
According to police, the robbery occurred when Bhupender Saluja, 43, was on his way to Kalkaji temple. Mid way, two persons on a scooter waved him to stop. When he did, one of the riders slid into the passenger side of his car.
According to Saluja, the accused pointed a gun towards him and asked him to handover cash and gold ornaments that he was wearing. When Bhupender handed over the valuables – his wallet, gold chain, gold bracelet, gold ring and diamond ring – they both fled away. ‘A case has been regstered Panel code against the two unidentified persons,’ said the police.
