Two persons dead in 2 separate road accidents

Two persons died, while six others were injured in two separate road accidents in Howrah. The first accident took place at Shyampur area late Saturday night when a car on its way to Gadiara from Dhulagarh lost control and hit a roadside tree. Ranjit Singh (32) died in the accident, while five other passengers were injured. They were taken to a nearby hospital. Another accident that took place near Panchla on National Highway 6 claimed the life one Rana Das (30). The victim was riding a motor bike late Saturday night. He was crushed under the wheels of a truck coming from the opposite direction. Rakesh Sharma who was riding on the pillion suffered serious injuries in the accident. The local people took him to a nearby hospital where he has been undergoing treatment. His condition is stated to be serious.
