Two persons arrested in Tiljala murder case

Two persons were on Monday arrested in connection with the murder of 29-year-old Kavin Alfred D Silva at Tiljala here, police said. 

D Silva’s body with his hands and legs tied was found in an under building at Tiljala on Sunday.

On Monday police arrested Adrin Fernandez (29) and Pritam  Sinha Roy (29) from Picnic Garden area.  

Police came to know that the duo were the victim’s friends but they had a quarrel a few days ago. On Saturday, too, there might have been a scuffle among them, police said.

Police suspect that despite knowing about the victim's death they had not informed the police.
