Two more swine flu suspected deaths

The national capital on Friday witnessed two more suspected deaths due to swine flu, which if confirmed will take the figure to six, according to health officials. Also, 28 new cases were reported.
According to the health department, two women in their fifties have succumbed to the death with the symptoms similar to those of swine flu. “Two women in their fifties have recently died with the symptoms to that of swine flu. While the first woman from Chattarpur was admitted to Safdarjung hospital, the other was from Patel Nagar and was admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia hospital (RML),” said RN Das, a senior official from the Directorate of Health Services(DHS).
“The deaths are being reviewed, and can be called swine flu deaths only if confirmed,” said Das.
