Two killed, three injured in separate road accidents

Two youth were killed and three others were injured in two separate road accidents in Howrah and South 24 Parganas. The first accident took place at Howrah’s Bagnan. Two persons, including a child were riding a motor cycle. Police said that one Pradip Roy was riding the motorcycle when another was riding on the pillion. The accident had taken place when Roy was trying to overtake a vehicle. 

The local people said that the rider had lost the control over the motorcycle while overtaking a truck and rammed into the divider. They were going to Kolaghat from Bagnan. Both the victims were not wearing helmets.

They were taken to a hospital where Roy was declared brought dead while the other is undergoing treatment. In another motor cycle accident, two persons including a child were injured on Bagnan Amta road when a bike had hit a car.

In a separate accident a student died after meeting with a road accident on Kulpi road. Police said that the victim was riding a motorcycle at a top speed. When he reached near Sarberia More, the biker lost control and hit a roadside garage.

The victim was declared brought dead after being taken to a hospital while the victim’s brother riding pillion also received injuries on his body.
