Two kidnappers arrested for abducting businessman

Delhi Police have arrested two kidnappers and rescued two victims including an ex-serviceman hailing from North-Eastern States. -

The accused have demanded Rs 15 lakh from each of the victim’s family, police said. The accused have been identified as Sunil Kumar Thapa (34), a resident of West Bengal and Mohammad Ali (32) who hails from Chennai. On September 20, Lalneisung (42), and his nephew went to UP to finalise a deal with one Ashish. 

In 2014, Lalneisung came in the contact of one Ashish who introduced himself as a retired Colonel of Army who offered him to join his business of supplying chemical (pseudoephedrine) and asked Lalneisung to bring some customers to buy this chemical and lured them of high amount of money as commission. He involved Zosangliana in the business.

 While taking the delivery, the accused persons snatched Rs 30 lakh from them and abducted them. Delhi Police Crime Branch carried out a raid at Anand Vihar bus terminal and both the accused were arrested and the victims were rescued.
