Two, including juvenile, in net for robbery

The Delhi Police have apprehended two persons, including a juvenile for committing multiple robberies in Ashok Vihar and Bharat Nagar within 90 minutes. The police have recovered five mobile phones, cash and a knife from their possession.

The police said the first incident took place around 9:15 pm on November 14, when one person was robbed of his mobile phone and cash at knifepoint by two youngsters near the Khiman Singh Park area. The police got a call around the same time that a man has been robbed of cash in the park by two youngsters in a similar fashion. When the man resisted, one of the men attacked him in the leg with a knife. Another incident of robbery was reported around 10:30pm near the Wazirpur underpass.

The police said two more robberies were reported in the same night, after which teams were formed to nab the accused. Policemen were deployed at border areas across the city and the two were apprehended while trying to escape through the Ring Road.

According to the police, one of the complainants, Rohit who was stabbed by one of the two robbers in the chest, helped the police and identify and nab them. One of the accused was identified as Arun (18), police said.
