Two cases of sexual assault on minors reported in city

In yet another case of crime against minors in the capital, a 10-year-old girl was allegedly molested in east Delhi on Tuesday. The accused has been arrested.
The incident took place at Rajveer Colony, Kondli. The accused has been identified as Durvesh, 28, who is a neighbor of the victim's sister.
According to the investigating official, 'the incident took place during the afternoon, when the girl was playing outside the house. The accused lured her to his house and molested her'.
The official added, 'The girl started screaming and ran home and told her sister and brother-in-law, with whom she was staying, about the incident', added the official.
The victim’s family contacted the Ghazipur police station.
The girl was taken to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital for a medical examination. ‘She had not suffered any serious injuries, but there were bite marks on her cheek', said the official. The accused was arrested the same night.
In an yet another shocking incident a 12-year-old minor girl was raped by her 14-year-old brother on Monday night, when she was alone at home. The incident occurred in north Delhi's Burari area. The girl has also alleged that she was raped by her 25-year-old brother-in-law twice on Saturday.
Police arrested her brother-in-law on Tuesday, but her brother is still absconding. 'The girl's medical examination has confirmed rape,' said a police officer.
