Two cases of sexual assault on minors in outer Delhi

Two incidences of rape and attempt to rape were reported from the outer Delhi area on Tuesday. A minor was raped by her maternal uncle in the Begampur area of outer Delhi on Sunday. In the other case reported from the same area, police has sent a minor boy to a juvenile home for attempting to rape a seven-year-old girl.
According to sources, in the first case, the victim’s maternal uncle used to live in the same house with her and her family in outer Delhi’s Begampur area. The incident took place when the victim was alone at home with the accused.
The accused, Raghav, went to the victim’s room and raped her. The accused was arrested after a medical examination of the victim confirmed rape.
In the second incident, 17-year-old Kishore has been accused of attempting to rape his minor neighbour.
