Two businessmen robbed off Rs 22L

A city-based businessman and his brother were allegedly attacked and robbed off Rs 22 lakh by three assailants on a motorcycle at gunpoint on Saturday, police said.

The incident occurred around 1 pm in South Delhi’s Okhla Industrial area when the brothers Ramesh Kumar (40), and Santosh Kumar (35), came out from the Bank of India after withdrawing the money. 

“Ramesh and Santosh had withdrawn Rs 22 lakh from Bank of India branch in Okhla. Three people riding on a bike approached them as soon as they came out of the bank and reached near their car. The culprits took away their money at gunpoint and fled the spot,” DCP Mandeep Singh Randhawa said.
