Two bodies recovered from different locations in Gr Noida

Bodies of two youths including that of a minor, who had gone missing for the last three days, were found murdered at separate locations in Greater Noida on Wednesday.

The police said that the first body was recovered early in the morning from the Dalelgadh village of Dankaur, when a passer-by informed of a body lying in a drain. The deceased was identified as Praveen Sharma(17), who went missing two days ago. He left home saying that he was going to the Shiv temple of the village. The police said that when he did not return till late in the night, his family members set out to look for him within village, but could not find him.

The next day, they even searched in the jungle area of the village but he was not found there. However, the victim’s family members had recovered a piece of cloth that supposedly belonged to him from a field. Nevertheless, the police had registered a missing complaint at the Dankaur police station.

The second body was recovered from the Bishara village of Dadari area. The police said that a 25-year-old unidentified man was found in a pool of blood. The police suspect that he was murdered by a sharp weapon. Although his identity is uncertain, police have speculated his name to be ‘Pradeep’. “The man has a tattoo on his hand, spelling Pradeep. We are spreading the message across the area so that we can trace his family. We have sent the body for post-mortem, the report of which is awaited,” said an official, who is investigating the matter.
