Two arrested for cheating

Two men have been arrested for allegedly cheating people on the pretext of providing <g data-gr-id="15">easy</g> loan on <g data-gr-id="16">low interest</g> rates and increasing their bank account overdraft limit, police said on Sunday.
Mohammed Adil (28) and Nitin Gupta (30) have been arrested for allegedly cheating people with the help of a “magic pen” that they used to give to customers to fill in details the documents and cancelled cheques, police said. Later, the accused would allegedly remove the ink and <g data-gr-id="19">en-cash</g> the cheque after filling it as ‘self cheque’. It said <g data-gr-id="21">investigation</g> has revealed that the accused had cheated 8-10 people and had taken Rs 1 lakh from each of them.
Adil is a resident of <g data-gr-id="13">Meerut,</g> while Gupta hails from Delhi. A Honda City car, four mobile phones and several fake identity cards in different names and addresses were recovered from them.
