Trial courts in city should be like role model: High Court
Taking lawyers as well as people for filth in various court complexes, Delhi high court on Wednesday said the complexes here should be like a role model so that the visitors have a pleasant experience irrespective of whether they win or lose a case.
A Bench of justices B D Ahmed and Sanjeev Sachdeva also said if something new is being constructed for the welfare of court staff and visitors at the court premises, everyone should keep their place of work clean.
“It is seen that when something is built and high profile dignitaries are invited for inauguration, then
it is decorated with flowers, but the same loses its beauty after a week and within a year that becomes the worst place and you can find dirt everywhere,” the court said.
Both the lawyers and public are responsible for the “filth” generated in trial court complexes.
