Training programme on CBRN security for cops held

Two-day training programme on Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Security, Preparedness and Response for a team of 50 officers of Delhi Police was inaugurated under the aegis of National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), New Delhi on Wednesday. This programme was initiated taking into consideration the need of preparing Delhi Police personnel to be well trained and equipped to respond to any CBRN threat in the Capital of the country. The CBRN agents could be used by terrorist in the form of a dirty bomb. Biological agents like anthrax could be disbursed through air conditioning system.
