Traditional treats

Ingredients :
Yellow Dal (Arhar)- 75 gms
Turmeric-05 gms
Garlic-05 gms
Onion-15 gms
Mustard Seeds-03 gms
Cumin Seeds-03 gms
Coconut Oil-05 gms
Curry Leaves-10 gms
Salt- To Taste
Coconut Paste-20gms
Dry Red Chilli Whole-05 gms
Petha- 15 gms

Method :
Boil Dal, adding turmeric powder and salt
Add garlic whole, white petha (dice)
Simmer till done
For tempering, put oil in the pan followed by mustard and cumin seeds, curry leaves, dry red chilli
Now add sliced onion, stir till onion turns dark pink
Pour the tempering on the dal, adding coconut paste and lemon juice
Garnish with Curry Leaves

Ingredients:

Lady Finger- 200 gm
Coconut milk- 100ml
Fenugreek and Curry seeds- 01 gm
Coriander Powder- 05 gms
Turmeric Powder- 05 gms
Red Chili- 05 gms
Salt- To Taste
Lemon Juice- 03 ml
Coriander- 05 gms
Coconut Oil- 05 gms
Shallot Slice (Baby onions)- 15 gms

Method:
Pour oil into the wok
Add fenugreek seeds, curry leaves followed by sliced shallot and chilli
Stir for 3-4 minutes till onion turns pink
Add turmeric powder, coriander powder and then lady finger
Stir for a while and then add coconut milk and salt
Simmer till lady finger is cooked
Garnish with fresh coriander sprig
