The program started with Ganesh Vandana and was followed by lighting of the inaugural lamp by Ramesh Tiwari, MD and CEO, DTTDC along with Ravi Dadhich, GM, DTTDC.

In the year 1975, Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC) was brought into being and now it has turned 39. All these years have been full of activities, events and ambitious projects to transform Delhi into a spectacular tourist friendly destination.

Delhi Tourism has always been striving to make Delhi a city of never-ending delights, and all efforts have paid in terms of endowing it a unique identity at local as well as international platforms. Winning various accolades as a favourite destination for travelers, Delhi is a vibrant place for an animated and comfortable travel experience. In a bid to celebrate the 39 memorable years of sublime achievement, various cultural programs were organised to entertain the employees of the organisation.

These presentations included special bhangra performance, mind boggling magic show, Tanura dance, patriotic songs along with other captivating events. Tanura, an Egyptians folk dance, not only dazzled the audience but the bright outfits of the performers was a major attraction.

A special time slot was also kept for the employees of DTTDC to showcase their skills and nearly 6 of them presented melodious compositions along with lively dance acts. Chakradhari, a special wheel balancing act was also performed which held everyone’s attention. Kids of Boogie Woogie fame took part in the occasion and showcased their unique dance acts.

Since its inception, Delhi Tourism has been instrumental in promoting tourism in and around Delhi through various activities and projects.
