Too much of sanity

The 16 century classic novel Quijote Wallah by Spanish writer Miguel Cervantes will soon be staged on the Capitals stage. A collaboration between street artist Harsh Raman Singh Paul and the director Sukhesh Arora have brought this interdisciplinary art project to city.
The novel originally titled, The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha is set up in medieval Spain. Using their own unique styles, Harsh and Sukhesh creates a surreal blend of storytelling that is not quite theatre and not quite street art. Quijote Wallah walks the line between perception and reality, belief and doubt, the apparent and the unreal.
The story is about senior Quixana, a gentleman farmer who believes he is the Knight of the Rueful Countenance aka Don Quijote of La Mancha and he is destined to bring back the Golden Age and restore peace and justice to the world.  The rest of the world believes that he has gone quite mad, but isn’t too much sanity also a madness? And the maddest of all is to see life as it is, and not as it should be.
Performers on stage will be Shivam Pradhan, Piyush Kumar, Himani Pant, Uma Katju, Niketan Sharma and Ayushaansh Gupta. Music is given by Theophilus Benjamin. We say don’t miss
this one.
