Toll in Maha mounts to 99

Seven deaths due to swine flu were reported in Maharashtra on Sunday, taking the number of disease-related deaths in the state to 99. “Seven deaths were reported on Sunday, one each from Thane, Raigad, Pune, Nashik districts and three from Nagpur,” Public Health Minister Dr Deepak Sawant said. So far, there have been 911 cases and as many as 39 people infected by the H1N1 virus are on ventilator, the minister said.
