TN, Haryana boys win in basketball tournament

Tamil Nadu and Haryana boys posted comfortable victories over Chandigarh and Madhya Pradesh, respectively in the ongoing 67th Junior National Basketball championship here.

Tamil Nadu overcame Chandigarh 98-79, while Haryana prevailed over Madhya Pradesh 96-65.

Hari Ram with 26 points, Bala with 19 contributed to TN boys win, while Deepak and Jonu Kumar earned 21 and 15 points for Haryana.

In another boy’s match, West Bengal walloped Karnataka 71-57, with Saddam and Gopal each scoring 22 points.
