TMC protests over black money, reconversion issue

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Monday joined hands with the ‘Janata Parivar’ in raising their voice inside as well as outside the Parliament over government’s silence on Conversion and Black Money issue.

They also protested against Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in front of Mahatma Gandhi’s statue at Parliament accusing him of U-Turn on bringing the ill gotten money back to India, which is stashed abroad at several foreign banks.

Later Trinamool MPs expresses their solidarity with ‘Janata Parivar’ and joined their protest at Jantar Mantar against the anti-people policies of the NDA government. The uproar from the united oppositions forced both the House to adjourn.

“After RS adjourned, drove to Janata Parivar meet to express solidarity on behalf of TMC. Meet got over few minutes earlier and we support their cause,” TMC spokesperson Derek’s statement on tweeter.

“We are not running away from a discussion. We want a discussion on the issue of conversion. We want the PM (Narendra Modi) come to Rajya Sabha. You don’t need a 56 inch chest. You need a 4 inch heart,” he said in Rajya Sabha.
